About the Program
READ, TOO.™ is a youth reading initiative that empowers kids in sport to proudly identify as readers. Children who practice discipline, teamwork, and resilience in sport can carry those same strengths into reading — and become role models for others.
This pilot program will serve 500 children, each receiving a free copy of Sheng, The Gaido‑Slam Master™, a story created to inspire courage, imagination, and the habit of getting back up.
READ, TOO.™ welcomes children from all Olympic sports — including swimming, athletics, football, basketball, badminton, martial arts, gymnastics, cycling, and more.
